A lakeside hotel estate for events in Missillac
Domaine de la Bretesche brings together, in a 200-hectare wooded estate beside the Brière Regional Natural Park, a five-star hotel, restaurants, a spa, an 18-hole golf course and several meeting and reception spaces. The historic château overlooks the lake; accommodation and hotel services occupy the estate’s outbuildings and villas. The event offer covers weddings and private receptions as well as meetings, seminars, conferences, product launches and team-building activities.
Published spaces and capacities
Le Lavoir measures 120 sqm and accommodates up to 100 guests, including 100 for a banquet according to the official page. It is offered for weddings, conferences and receptions; technical equipment and modular layouts are available on request.
Espace Montaigu offers 100 sqm. The official page states up to 60 guests and specifies 30 for a cocktail reception; it is suitable for business meetings and private dinners.
Cèdres, Rhododendrons and Hortensias provide 99 sqm over three levels. The combined area is advertised for up to 80 guests, while each space generally hosts 20–40 people for meetings or creative workshops.
Nantes and Vannes provide 70 sqm over two levels and accommodate up to 50 guests for seminars and conferences. Le Bridge, 56 sqm, accommodates up to 38 people for strategy meetings and work sessions. These capacities must not be added together.
Formats and support
The estate offers weddings, meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops, product launches, cocktail receptions, private dinners and team building. Rooms have modular layouts; technical equipment is supplied on request and must be itemised in the quotation. Green spaces, golf, the adventure course and other estate activities can complement a group programme.
Accommodation, catering and wellbeing
Rooms, suites and villas are available on site. Deluxe Rooms sleep two in 32–42 sqm; Junior Suites, Lake-view Junior Suites and villas sleep up to four depending on category, with published areas of 33–60 sqm. The total number of rooms and beds allocated to an event is not stated on the official pages and requires confirmation.
Event catering, drinks, children’s menus, dietary requirements, allergens and corkage are not publicly priced. The estate operates restaurants and a bar; the applicable private-hire package, precise inclusions, staffing and hours must therefore be requested. The spa, pools, tennis, pétanque and golf are on site but are not automatically included in an event package.
