Cinéma 3 Casino is located at 11 cours Forbin, in the centre of Gardanne. Renovated and modernised, the venue has three screens and a café-ciné that contributes to local cultural life. Its activity combines film screenings with regular discussions, encounters and other events. The municipal description lists more than three hundred different films each year, including new releases, art-house works and films from many countries, shown in subtitled original versions or in French.
The cinema hosts meetings with film professionals, including directors, actors and producers. Its autumn film festival takes place around the All Saints holiday period. A monthly ciné-poussins screening is offered on Saturday mornings for children aged three and over. The café-ciné also organises activities such as karaoke evenings and events linked to film screenings. The cinema’s calendar distinguishes auditorium events from café activities, helping visitors choose a format appropriate to their interests and the ages of their participants.
