A wedding at Château de Coppet
In Coppet, in the canton of Vaud, this historic château offers six spaces for weddings, receptions and events. The Barons and Vignerons rooms are registered with Vaud’s civil registry for civil wedding ceremonies. You can also hire all the spaces for exclusive use.
Spaces and capacities
The old winepress accommodates 200 cocktail guests or 150 seated; the Vignerons room, 120 or 100; the old stables, 120 or 80; the Barons room, 150 or 100; and the cellars, 280 or 200. The park hosts events in the warmer months. These are separate room configurations: capacities must not be added together. The château overlooks the town and Lake Geneva; the railway station and landing stage are about 300 metres away.
Catering, access and hours
Five partner caterers share the château’s exclusivity, so an approved catering service is required. Institutional tourism information reports accessible parking, partial wheelchair access and partially accessible toilets. Confirm the relevant rooms and accessible route for your event. Displayed hire hours are 07:00 until 02:00 the following day, subject to confirmation in the quotation.
Displayed prices and booking
Displayed hire ranges from CHF 1,500 for the entrance courtyard to CHF 3,700 for the cellars, with CHF 100–200 cleaning depending on the space. Exclusive-use packages range from CHF 10,000 to CHF 13,500, plus CHF 600–800 cleaning. Obtain a dated quotation from the reception team to confirm prices, taxes, hours, included spaces and availability.
