Un entorno para celebrar vuestra historia
Presentación completa
Arles Municipal Theatre is located at 34 Boulevard Georges Clemenceau. Use by third parties is covered by a municipal tariff; an update appeared on the council agenda for 11 June 2026. The venue is suitable for performances, conferences and community or professional events that need an equipped auditorium and a full stage.
The May 2026 technical specification describes an auditorium with 283 tiered seats, ten additional side seats and eight designated wheelchair spaces. The entrance hall can be arranged for rehearsals or small-scale performances, with a separate overall capacity of 80 people. These figures relate to different spaces and must be confirmed for the proposed event.
The stage opening is ten metres wide, with a depth of ten metres. Technical equipment includes sound, lighting and video projection. The administration is based at 43 Rue Jean Granaud, separate from the public entrance. Organisers should discuss dates, their event schedule, installations and financial terms with the administrative and technical teams.
The theatre also has a Bar-Terrasse serving light refreshments. For performances in the regular season, it normally opens one hour before and one hour after the show. This arrangement is useful for a social moment around a performance. Opening the bar for a separate event must be discussed with the team, rather than assumed to follow the regular season’s arrangements.
Arles railway station is a fifteen-minute walk away. Parking is available nearby, and the paid Parking du Centre is listed 300 metres from the theatre on Boulevard des Lices. The recommended road access from Marseille or Montpellier uses exit 5 and Avenue du Maréchal Leclerc. On selected performance evenings, free shuttle buses can be reserved for groups of at least ten from Tarascon, Saint-Martin-de-Crau or Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.
The technical file includes stage plans and inventories of platforms, curtains and audiovisual equipment. It also describes rear access for scenery on Rue Molière, with a goods lift. For an event involving a specific installation, providing a layout and installation schedule allows the technical director to discuss the necessary resources. Listed equipment should be distinguished from services automatically included in a particular event package.
