In Pont-à-Mousson, between Metz and Nancy, Abbaye des Prémontrés hosts weddings and private celebrations beside the Moselle. This historic monument dating from the 18th century combines an abbey church, galleries, gardens and a hotel, providing a distinctive architectural setting for a reception.
Spaces to suit the programme
Drinks receptions can take place in the tree-lined gardens or in the rooms and galleries of the cloister. For weddings, dinner is offered in the abbey church. The website also lists six historic rooms for private events, with the overall offering ranging from 10 to 350 seated guests depending on the spaces selected. The Saint-Norbert room accommodates 150 seated guests or 250 for a cocktail reception; the Grande Sacristie seats 100.
Catering and planning support
A single contact person helps organise the event. Catering is provided by Marcotullio traiteur, with menus, cocktail receptions and brunches tailored to the project. The team can also provide contacts for professional evening entertainment. Specific dietary requirements can be discussed when planning the menu.
Planning guests’ stay
The abbey’s three-star hotel has around sixty rooms, subject to availability when booking. Free car parks are located near the monument. For a personalised proposal, provide your date, guest numbers, preferred reception schedule and accommodation requirements.
