Château de Cas offers space hire for weddings, receptions, seminars and business meetings. Located at 169 route du Château in the hamlet of Cas, Espinas, this Tarn-et-Garonne estate combines heritage, gardens and accommodation. Luc, the estate manager, meets couples to plan their event and prepare a personalised quotation. A site visit helps establish which spaces will be reserved and how the celebration will unfold.

Two rooms and several outdoor settings

The vaulted ground-floor room in the former stables and the upstairs Salle Haute form the indoor offer. The packages page lists 96 m² and 112 m² respectively; the wedding page gives 95 m² and 115 m². Confirm final dimensions and the setup plan. The latter page lists the Salle Haute for 115 seated or 230 standing guests. The packages page advertises up to 150 guests depending on layout, while the wedding page also gives an overall figure of 225 seated: these statements do not establish a single guaranteed capacity and are not added together.

The French formal garden accommodates drinks receptions. A shaded courtyard with a fountain and the steps leading to the dovecote provide other settings for a reception or outdoor ceremony. Saint-Martin chapel can accommodate a mass for 60 seated people, subject to agreed arrangements. Spaces open during heritage visits are not automatically all included in private hire. For an outdoor reception, agree wet-weather backup, circulation, toilet access and technical requirements.

Furniture, kitchen and suppliers

The venue provides Napoleon III chairs, round and rectangular tables, an equipped kitchen, cloakrooms and separate toilets. A large room has sanitary facilities and a changing table. Music sound equipment is available in the garden. Quantities, setup, equipment use and additional items must be stated in the quotation.

External suppliers may be freely chosen: caterers, DJs, florists and lighting decorators. The estate can suggest contacts. The official offer states that no corkage fee applies. Menus, allergies, dietary requirements, children’s meals, tableware, staff, cake and brunch depend on the chosen supplier and signed agreement; no catering service is assumed to be included in the hire.

Hire packages checked on 13 October 2026

The Low Season Package is displayed at €3,825 for 24 hours, Saturday to Sunday, between October and May, with access to rooms, gardens and outdoor spaces. The Standard Package is displayed at €4,250, Saturday morning to Sunday morning, with rooms, gardens and reception furniture. The Full Package is displayed at €13,990, Friday to Sunday, with estate accommodation for two nights, 33 beds advertised for this package and use of the pool.

These are the amounts on the official page consulted; it specifies no tariff year, tax treatment or full list of exclusions. Request a dated quotation confirming spaces, duration, guest numbers, nights, cleaning, security and extras. The booking information reviewed advertises a 50% advance payment and the balance one month before the wedding, including cottages; a security-deposit cheque is also mentioned. Confirm its amount, cancellation, postponement, insurance and event payment methods contractually.

Cottages and on-site stays

The six accommodation units presented are La Boiserie, 5 people from €195 per night; La Bergerie, 6 people from €195; La Bruyère, 14 people from €580; Le Pigeonnier, 2 people from €195; Le Romantique, 2 people from €145; and Le Colombage, 6 people from €260. These are nightly rates separate from wedding hire. Check availability, taxes and stay conditions for your requested dates.

The cottages page advertises a shared pool, a barbecue area, included cleaning, and supplied bed linen and towels. The full package states 33 beds, whereas other pages give different totals: do not add capacities together or assume that every unit is included. The dovecote is also presented as the couple’s room.

Access, rules and organisation

Two private car parks are advertised for a maximum total of 80 cars. The lawn can accommodate tents and camper vans subject to agreed arrangements. Taxi and minibus options may be suggested for return journeys; they are not assumed to be included. Check accessible routes to rooms, especially the upper floor, gardens, chapel and accommodation before booking. A general accessibility statement does not guarantee every route.

Fireworks and other pyrotechnic entertainment are prohibited. Noise restrictions, music hours, setup, breakdown and supplier access must be stated in the contract. Wedding-planning visits are offered throughout the year by appointment. Heritage visiting hours are not event-hire hours.
