A setting to celebrate your story
Full presentation
A wedding at Château de Chissay in Loir-et-Cher
In Chissay-en-Touraine, Château de Chissay combines a 31-room hotel, La Table du Roy restaurant and reception spaces in a château setting with parkland, a Renaissance courtyard and terraces. The estate offers exclusive use for weddings for stays of at least three days. Arrangements, reserved spaces, accommodation and services are agreed with the venue through a personalised quotation.
Reception spaces and capacities
The Salle des Gardes covers approximately 250 m² and accommodates up to 200 banquet guests, depending on the layout. Published cocktail capacities range from 250 to 300 guests: the permitted number must be confirmed for your event and configuration. Capacities across different spaces must not be added together to determine the capacity of a single reception.
Additional spaces include the Louis XIV salon, Zitto room and Galerie. Available figures for Louis XIV vary from 60 to 70 m² and from 40 to 50 seated guests, with approximately 70 standing. Zitto is listed at around 70 m², accommodating 60 banquet or 80 cocktail guests. The Galerie is approximately 24 to 25 m², accommodating 10 to 20 seated guests depending on layout, or around 25 standing. These smaller rooms, their areas and capacities should be reconfirmed before booking.
The park is described as covering around eight hectares. A 13 th-century chapel forms part of the château setting. The courtyard, terraces and gardens provide possible settings for different stages of the celebration; the spaces actually included, outdoor installations and ceremony options must be specified in the quotation. A ceremony in the chapel requires confirmation of its conditions of use.
Exclusive use, services and activities
The stated minimum wedding exclusive-use period is three days. No rental price or complete priced wedding package is published on the dedicated official page. Request a detailed quotation covering reserved days and times, rooms, accommodation, catering, furniture, equipment and possible extras. Choice of suppliers, catering policy, music rules, deposits and cancellation conditions remain to be confirmed with the team.
The château also hosts day and residential seminars and cultural events. Activities can be considered on request: wine tasting, archery, team games, casino games, introductory horse activities, magic or mentalism. Their availability for weddings, supervision and prices are agreed separately; none is stated to be automatically included in exclusive use.
