Château de Corabœuf, in Val-Mont, Côte-d’Or, offers private hire for weddings, family celebrations and business events. The 80-hectare estate has a courtyard, park, gardens, pavilion and listed historic buildings, with a keep, towers and wings altered over the centuries. Hire can cover a day, evening or weekend, according to the project.

Spaces and capacities

The dining room, with wood panelling and old paintings, seats up to 50. The courtyard hosts cocktails for up to 150 from April to October; a marquee is planned in bad weather, with size, equipment and possible cost to confirm. The esplanade behind the 16th-century wing, park, garden, pavilion and terrace can host ceremonies, banquets, cocktails or evenings, depending on the spaces booked. The overall stated range is 50–150 guests, not 150 seated indoors. The 250 m² Orangerie is a future venue after works, not confirmed available. The French garden, pond and arboretum with over 60 tree species complete the grounds.

Organisation and conditions

Planning, decoration and wedding-day coordination are offered. Venue-only hire, an outside caterer and free choice of photographer and music are advertised, as are one event per day and a dance floor. A reception preparation kitchen and its equipment remain unconfirmed. Couples may bring their cake and drinks; no drinks surcharge is stated, subject to contract. Confirm finish times, noise rules, supplier access, furniture, reception cleaning, insurance and cancellation. Full wheelchair accessibility is not advertised: check routes and toilets before booking.

Reception hire price

Venue hire from EUR 1,800: an indicative reference checked on 11 October 2026, with no published season, duration or detailed inclusions. It is not a meal price, accommodation price or complete package. A quotation is required. Payment in three instalments by bank transfer or cash is advertised; confirm the schedule and contract.

Two holiday homes, 12 guests

The adjoining Marquis and Marquise homes in the east wing each have three bedrooms for six people: six bedrooms and 12 guests together. Marquise: 179 m²; Marquis: 150 m². Minimum two nights, booked separately from reception hire. Each has a fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and Wi-Fi. Marquise has a television; Marquis offers Chromecast projection without a television. Beds are made and household linen and towels provided. In each home, two bedrooms have 160 × 200 cm beds; the third offers two 90 × 200 cm beds or one 180 × 200 cm bed, requested when booking. Travel cot, highchair and changing mat are available on request before arrival. Books, board games, outdoor dining areas, individual barbecues, relaxation furniture and table tennis are offered; bicycle hire on request. Thick walls may limit outdoor Wi-Fi. Both homes are non-smoking and pets are not accepted.

Holiday-home guests may unload in the courtyard, then park at the visitor car park at the entrance. French, English and Spanish welcome is available. Ordinary tourist visits: 09:00–18:00 outside private events, EUR 2/adult; this is not a wedding-hire price.
