Weddings at Château de Kerambleiz, beside the Odet

In Plomelin, near Quimper and Bénodet, Château de Kerambleiz hosts weddings, receptions and seminars in twenty hectares of wooded grounds overlooking the Odet. The nineteenth-century château offers salons, a reception tent and accommodation. Exclusive use is advertised when all accommodation is booked: specify exclusivity, duration and included spaces in your contract.

Salons and reception tent

A 45 m² entrance hall leads to two salons advertised together for up to 120 guests. Do not treat that figure as each salon’s individual capacity. The 45 m² Salle des Boiseries is documented for fifty at cocktails or conferences, forty-five for banquets and twenty for meetings or U-shaped layouts. The over-70 m² Salle de Réception, with two turrets and Odet views, advertises eighty for cocktails, seventy for conferences or seated meals and twenty-three for meetings or U-shaped layouts. Final layouts may alter capacities.

A 300 m² tent near the château advertises 250 for seated receptions; a cocktail layout up to three hundred is also documented, to confirm. Heating, wooden floor, drapes, chandeliers and customisable decoration are described. An older section states 350 m²: confirm the actual installation and area. A 3,000 m² heated-pool area can host reception drinks. A ground-floor committee room advertises around thirty participants for corporate events.

Equipment and suppliers

Projector, Wi-Fi, microphones, flipchart, round tables and chairs are available on request, with options depending on the package. An equipped 30 m² catering kitchen is described; an additional structure near the marquee may be requested. Caterers are freely chosen, with suggested partners for food, photography, DJs, lighting, crêpes and roast pork. A catered menu is not automatically included.

Documented terms allow your own cake without a supplement and outside drinks without advertised corkage; agree arrangements and service with the estate and your caterer. One reception a day is specified. Some materials advertise no finish-time limit, but music hours, sound rules and supervision still need contractual agreement. Accessibility information conflicts, and château bedrooms are reached by a spiral staircase over two floors: no general accessibility guarantee is made. Request a specific route for your needs.

Prices and separate packages

A wedding-hire offer updated in March 2026 lists €2,000–3,500 without fully specifying duration, taxes and inclusions. Another presentation lists individual rooms from €2,900, with scope to clarify. These are not guaranteed prices for the same service. Request a quote itemising château, tent, furniture, accommodation, cleaning, security deposit and catering. Documented terms describe thirty percent at booking, thirty percent three months ahead and forty percent one month ahead; confirm current contract and cancellation terms.

A Saturday-morning-to-Sunday-morning weekend package describes two salons, eleven château bedrooms, a 30 m² cocktail shelter facing the château, heated pool, sheets, towels and breakfast, with your caterer booked separately. This small shelter is not the 300 m² dining tent. Another package includes bedrooms and salons alongside seven older four-person furnished units; the current official presentation describes eight apartments with different occupancies. Confirm the actual booked composition rather than relying on an old list. No fixed current room or cottage price was established.

Eleven château rooms and eight apartments, around seventy beds

The official website lists eleven château bedrooms and apartments sleeping twenty-seven, with Odet or park views. The nearby manor offers eight furnished, equipped apartments for two to seven each, with a stated combined total of forty-two. Together this allocation gives sixty-nine places, presented as around seventy; actual availability depends on your booking. Older totals of sixty beds or seven cottages do not replace the current official offer.

Manor apartments, between château and pool, are offered for year-round seasonal stays with heated-pool access. Breakfast, linen, extra beds and leisure access are included only under the agreed package.

Activities and chauffeur car

The grounds provide several kilometres of woodland and riverside walks, lawns for games and activities, and access to a small harbour. Outdoor heated pool, fishing and group activities may complement a stay, subject to conditions. Kerbernez golf, Odet or Glénan cruises, beaches and visits to Quimper or Locronan are regional activities, not all-inclusive estate facilities.

The official Jaguar XJ8 chauffeur-hire offer lists €400 per day, for ceremony travel through to dinner, with a possible scenic drive and photo session. Confirm mileage, hours, taxes, availability and terms. This supplement is separate from reception hire.
