Château de la Confrérie Saint-Étienne hosts weddings in Kientzheim, part of Kaysersberg Vignoble in Alsace. Reception rooms and outdoor settings

The Grand Caveau accommodates up to 200 standing guests for a drinks reception. The air-conditioned, soundproofed Salle Schwendi seats up to 130 guests while retaining a dance floor, with lighting that can be adjusted for the event. Salle Dreyer seats up to 160 people for meals without musical entertainment. The smaller Salle Capitulaire can be used as a nursery or cloakroom. The courtyard and park offer further possibilities for ceremonies and drinks receptions, subject to the arrangements agreed with the venue.

Planning a celebration at the château

Exclusive hire can include the indoor rooms and outdoor areas. Couples may choose their own professional caterer and other suppliers, and the château can provide a list of familiar partners. Wine service follows a specific house policy: wines must carry the Confrérie’s quality seal. An exception for a wine from another region may be agreed in advance.

The venue lists parking for approximately 100 cars and access for guests with reduced mobility. There are no bedrooms at the château, so overnight arrangements should be made separately in Kientzheim, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr or Colmar.
