In the Entre-deux-Mers vineyards, Château de la Ligne combines reception rooms, gardens and accommodation around a historic courtyard. Ceremonies may take place by the Charter wall or in the front garden; lawn drinks, dinner and dancing use the spaces booked. The estate produces its wines and offers tastings. Its current official website presents bespoke wedding packages: confirm availability, exclusivity and services directly with the team.

Orangerie, salons and gardens

The current presentation advertises the Orangerie for up to 190 people without defining one layout, with an adjoining equipped catering kitchen. Documented layouts describe around 200 m², up to 170 seated guests and 200 for cocktails; approve your layout and authorised capacity. The Grand Hall advertises seventy people with garden access; the former-library Salon Bleu thirty. The Irish Bar opens on request with estate wines, beers, spirits and Hinch distillery products.

High-speed Wi-Fi is available in the rooms; projector, sound system and microphones are on request. Gardens include lawns, a fountain, stone barbecue, seating and dining areas, heated pool and pétanque. Detailed presentations describe a three-hectare park and private parking for 120 vehicles. Confirm covered outdoor spaces, indoor wet-weather arrangements and any marquee. Equipment and bar opening are not automatically included in every package.

Accommodation: suites and four cottages

The estate advertises accommodation for up to fifty people; the château details eight suites and one standard room, accommodating eighteen. Paris, London, Madrid, Moscow, Venice, Belfast, Vienna and Bordeaux are the main suites, all upstairs with private bathrooms. The Pékin standard room is available by special request. Four self-contained cottages together advertise up to twenty-nine. These figures do not add up to a guarantee of fifty available beds: agree actual rooms, extra beds and occupancy.

Aliénor has four queen bedrooms, each with a bathroom, for eight, plus a sofa bed bringing its maximum to ten; its ground floor has adapted access and accessible toilets. The Appartement above the winery has two bedrooms for six, a sofa bed for up to eight, kitchen, bathroom and air conditioning. Cœur de Lion provides two queen bedrooms, a sofa bed for up to six, kitchen, air conditioning and a private courtyard terrace. Entre-deux-Mers sleeps five over two floors, with a family bedroom containing a queen bed and three single beds, kitchen, dining room, private pool and garden access. The main heated pool is subject to opening hours and seasonal conditions.

Prices and booking terms to confirm

Reception presentations document venue hire between €6,000 and €10,000, weekend exclusive use from €6,500 including VAT and individual rooms between €1,000 and €8,000 excluding VAT according to duration and spaces. These are indications for different offers, not guaranteed current prices; request a quote specifying furniture, food, accommodation, taxes and exclusivity. Documented wedding terms describe a fifty-percent non-refundable deposit on furniture/reception and balance fifteen working days ahead, whereas older materials state thirty percent: the updated contract determines payment and security deposit.

The 2026 tourism guide lists nightly cottage prices: Aliénor €800 for four bedrooms/eight people; Appartement €400 for two bedrooms/six people; Cœur de Lion €800 for two bedrooms/four people; Entre-deux-Mers €600 for one bedroom/four people. These occupancy bases differ from current maxima using extra beds and do not automatically include a reception. Confirm season, minimum stay, taxes and breakfast. Continental breakfast is described as included for château rooms and optional for cottages.

Corporate packages must be distinguished from weddings. One presentation lists half-day from €72 excluding VAT per person, full day from €89, cocktail or seated meal from €85, cocktail with dancing from €85, and residential from €240 excluding VAT per person, with inclusions to specify. Another lists morning at €81 and afternoon at €75 excluding VAT per person, including room, catering and audiovisual equipment; full day €105 excluding VAT with welcome coffee, two breaks, lunch and equipment; a one-night residential package from €305, tax basis to confirm, with those elements and accommodation; dancing cocktail €105 excluding VAT and seated dinner with dancing €125 excluding VAT per person. These lists are not interchangeable and are not wedding menus.

Suppliers and arrangements

The team supports planning and presents catering, photography, video and wedding-planning partners. Documented wedding terms allow a chosen caterer with no photographer or music exclusivity; some corporate offers use a partner caterer: agree the rule in your contract. Bringing your cake is described without a supplement, and outside drinks without corkage, but one bottle from the estate’s four red wines for every three adults is requested at dinner. Music end times differ between 3:45 and 4 am: obtain the exact time in writing. Specify furniture, linen, night security and coordination, as well as any nursery and babysitter paid for separately.

A two-and-a-half-hour wine tour is offered for groups of ten to forty, including exploring the estate, tasting four wines and a charcuterie board; booking and price on request. The 9.5-hectare vineyard grows Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

Access and contact

Bordeaux-Saint-Jean station and Bordeaux-Mérignac airport serve the area; travel times vary. The marker identifies the estate’s winery building, not a town centre; confirm the entrance and booked reception room with the team. Verified accessibility on Aliénor’s ground floor does not establish access to upstairs suites.
