Château de la Turmelière hosts weddings, family celebrations and business events in Liré, part of Orée-d’Anjou, Maine-et-Loire, western France. The nineteenth-century reception building is separate from the older ruins elsewhere on the estate. Published variations warrant a measured plan. Wedding information gives up to 130 seated or 150 standing guests for the combined reception area, depending on layout. The tourism table separately lists 70 banquet places in each main room and 25 in La Pléiade; do not add these figures to exceed the overall limit. Confirm the space remaining for dancing and a wet-weather ceremony arrangement.

Additional spaces, activities and equipment

The Orangerie building contains a 97-square-metre room and Le Chêne, described as 67 square metres plus a 14-square-metre area. Espace Sport offers a 130-square-metre lounge, the 42-square-metre Loire room and the 24-square-metre Bocage room; smaller spaces are reserved according to the event. The tourism table gives 100 banquet places for the lounge and 26 for Loire. None of these buildings is automatically included in château hire. Professional information mentions tables, chairs, Wi-Fi and presentation equipment; confirm the inventory and technical assistance. Supervised sporting, cultural and environmental activities can be requested under a separate quotation.

Professional kitchen and catering choice

Professional descriptions allow clients to choose their caterer. The château kitchen is hired separately and is for professional use, with preparation areas, cold storage, cooking and washing-up facilities; reserve it according to your caterer’s actual needs. A list of caterers familiar with the venue is available on request. Tourism information also describes catering using local and seasonal produce, subject to the chosen arrangement. No reliable current wedding menu price, minimum guest count, corkage charge or dietary supplement is established. Obtain itemised prices for drinks, staffing, breakfast, brunch, dietary requirements and cleaning.

Château bedrooms and cottages

Official material indexed for 2026 and the wedding description agree on 20 château bedrooms with two to five beds each, providing 74 overnight places with private bathrooms upstairs. Lift access is offered, on request according to the official documentation. The Tilleuls and Frênes cottages are around 200 metres away and each advertise 19 beds; Les Charmilles, about 100 metres away, has 12 beds in six rooms with shared bathrooms. Le Logis à Mots is a separate smaller option. Published estate totals vary around 128–130 beds: only an agreed room allocation establishes the accommodation actually available.

Indicative budget and booking terms

Secondary prices reviewed on 29 October 2026 distinguish château hire at €2,233 including tax from a wedding option at €3,793 including tax. The year, duration and inclusions are not explicit enough to constitute a guaranteed current quotation. Official 2026/2027 price lists are advertised, but their details could not be checked during this review. Distinguish room hire, accommodation and meals.
