A wedding at Château de Lalande in the Isle valley

In Annesse-et-Beaulieu, Château de Lalande is a four-star hotel and restaurant explicitly offering exclusive estate hire for wedding receptions. Catherine and Yves Staebell welcome family and business events in this historic house near Périgueux. Each project is tailored: specify the spaces, bedrooms, catering and programme you need before requesting a written proposal.

Spaces and capacities by layout

The Chai officially has daylight, a screen, projector, flipchart, sound system and free Wi-Fi, plus an adjoining area for welcome, breaks or cocktails. Detailed commercial layouts describe four spaces: an 85 m² dining room, 100 m² covered park terrace, 68 m² Chai and 25 m² Patio. Confirm floor areas and allocation on your booked plan.

The layout table lists the dining room for 50 at a banquet or conference and 60 for cocktails; the terrace for 60 at a banquet or conference and 80 for cocktails; the Chai for 24 in a U-shape, 40 at a conference, 30 at a banquet and 40 for cocktails; and the Patio for 20 at cocktails, with no seated limit specified. Another presentation lists 60 dining-room guests and 40 seated in the Chai, alongside an overall limit of 80. These figures conflict: approve your layout, circulation and dance area with the venue. Capacities are not added together, and a conference figure is not a dinner capacity.

Park, pool and equipment

The official three-hectare park has old trees, gardens, a swing, pétanque area and wooden games. A wisteria pergola accompanies the outdoor spaces. The outdoor pool is advertised as heated from May to September, with loungers. Agree reception access, supervision and children’s rules: its presence does not guarantee inclusion in your wedding. A symbolic ceremony and outdoor drinks reception are documented commercially; define private areas and the wet-weather alternative.

Commercial equipment actually checked includes rectangular and round tables, cloakroom, bar, whiteboard, microphone, computer screen, DVD player and Wi-Fi. Specify equipment actually included, tableware, linen, DJ, lighting, heating and air conditioning in each space, catering connections and safety needs in the quotation. A dance floor is mentioned in one presentation, without verified dimensions.

Catering, menus and drinks

The château’s kitchen uses local produce and its own kitchen garden. The restaurant, lounge and bedrooms are advertised as air-conditioned; the hotel is non-smoking and does not accept pets. On-site catering is documented; commercial information describes compulsory catering and caterer, to be confirmed in your wedding contract rather than assuming outside catering is unrestricted.

Restaurant menus checked on 14 October 2026 list Gourmet at €58 for starter, main and dessert, and Épicurien at €79 for starter, fish, meat and dessert, served to the whole table. Gourmet includes vegetarian options; a children’s menu is available on request. Menus are indicative and may change: they are not wedding packages including the venue, drinks, staffing or accommodation. Confirm allergies, diets, drinks, corkage, an outside cake supplier, children’s charges and brunch. The ordinary restaurant closes at lunchtime and advertises Wednesday closures in summer; an Alsatian restaurant operates in another room from mid-November to mid-March. These hours are not assumed to govern exclusive hire.

Bedrooms and suites: current official information

The official website advertises 17 air-conditioned bedrooms and suites. Commercial presentations list 19 bedrooms with either 35 or 39 beds: no overall bed total is guaranteed here. Charme, 16 m², and Exclusive, 23 m², sleep no more than two in a 160 cm bed, with no additional bed or twin arrangement. Prestige is approximately 30 m², with a 160 or 180 cm bed and shower or bath depending on the room.

The Junior Suite, approximately 38–40 m², has a sitting area, 180 cm bed, hydromassage shower and coffee machine; an extra bed is advertised at €35 on request and subject to availability, with the charging period to confirm. The Suite, approximately 45 m², has a sitting area, bath and hydromassage shower, 180 cm bed, bathrobes and coffee machine; a paid additional bed and cot are available subject to availability. The Family room, approximately 55 m², separates a parents’ area with a 180 cm bed from an area with two single beds by a door; additional bed or cot subject to availability. Television, telephone, safe, Wi-Fi and hospitality tray are detailed by category. Bedroom photographs are illustrative, as every room is different.

Stay prices distinct from wedding hire

Wedding hire and its services remain subject to quotation. The following official offers are stays, not château hire: prices were checked on 14 October 2026 without an explicitly established service year or tax basis.

Business overnight stay, restricted to business travellers and companies, from €165 for one person Sunday–Thursday: one night in a single room, main-course-and-dessert dinner and breakfast from 08:15. Indian Summer, advertised only in September Sunday–Friday subject to restaurant opening and availability, for two people: one night, two breakfasts and two Gourmet dinners excluding drinks, at €299 Charme, €326 Exclusive, €359 Prestige, €392 Junior Suite and €426 Suite. The offer advertises 15% off the overnight room price and is not presented as currently valid in October.

Romantic escape, advertised year-round for two: one night, two breakfasts, two gourmet aperitifs and two three-course dinners excluding drinks; €399 Exclusive, €450 Prestige, €479 Junior Suite and €525 Suite. Confirm validity, taxes, extras and terms before booking.

Booking, times and conditions

Official room check-in is from 16:00 and check-out at 11:00; advise the venue of late arrival. For stays shorter than three nights: free cancellation until noon seven days before arrival, 50% between six and three days, then 100% from two days before arrival, for no-show or early departure; a valid card is required as a guarantee. For three nights or more: 30% between thirteen and seven days, 50% between six and four, 70% between three and two, and 100% within 48 hours. Unstated periods are not invented. These hotel terms do not replace a wedding contract.

Card, bank transfer, cash and French holiday vouchers are listed commercially, subject to confirmation. Specify advance payment, security deposit, final payment, insurance, wedding cancellation, setup and breakdown. A music cutoff of 01:00 is published commercially: reconfirm it for your booking and do not interpret missing official restrictions as permission for an unlimited party.

How are reviews verified?
  1. An account with a verified email address

The author posts from their wedding account using a confirmed email address. Their email address and contact details are never displayed in the review.

  2. A collaboration confirmed before the event

The client and the professional must have confirmed their collaboration on VENUIVO before the event date. Simply adding a favourite or requesting a quote is not enough.

  3. A review after the event

A review can only be published after the scheduled date for a confirmed collaboration that has not been cancelled. Only one review may be published per collaboration.

  4. The same rules for all reviews

Positive and negative reviews are assessed using the same criteria. Abusive or promotional content and content containing private contact details are rejected. Reviews can be reported, and the professional can respond.

These checks make reviews more reliable. They confirm the collaboration process on VENUIVO; the assessment remains the author’s own.
