A wedding with exclusive hire in Carquefou

Château de Maubreuil offers exclusive hire of its rooms, gardens and accommodation for a wedding, from preparations to the following day. An outdoor ceremony, dinner, drinks reception and brunch can be arranged with the team. The scope of hire, catering, timings and services are defined in a personalised quotation.

Rooms and capacities by layout

• Grand Salon, 180 m²: 100 for a seated meal or 150 for cocktails, overlooking the gardens.
• Salon Nomade, 300 m² beside the swimming pools: 200 for cocktails; seated capacity is not published.
• Salon Tropical, 100 m² in the outbuildings: 26 in a U-shape, 60 theatre-style or 90 for cocktails.
• Boudoir Chinois and Cabinet des Curiosités, 35 m² each: 14 around a rectangular table, 20 theatre-style, 25 for cocktails or 24 at round tables.
• Route des Indes: 8 around a rectangular table, for smaller meetings.

These are alternative layouts and capacities must not be added. The website also mentions events for up to 250 people, while its FAQ specifies 200 in the Salon Nomade. Any arrangement exceeding the room-specific capacities needs approval with a detailed plan; no banquet capacity of 250 is assumed.

Official room prices

Advertised day rates start at €850 including VAT for the Salon Tropical, €650 including VAT for each 35 m² room, €1,200 including VAT for the Grand Salon and €450 including VAT for the Route des Indes. The Salon Nomade is advertised from €1,750 including VAT, with no duration unit specified in its table. These prices, checked on 14 October 2026, concern the spaces and are not a complete wedding package, a per-person menu or a weekend of exclusive hire.

Request a quotation separating hire, meals, drinks, rooms, staff, equipment, decoration and extras. Minimum guest numbers, seasons, duration and inclusions may affect the final price; no whole-estate hire price is guaranteed here.

Equipment and support

Equipment varies by room. The Tropical has a microphone, projector, screen, hi-fi speakers, daylight, flipchart, pencils and notepads. The Boudoir Chinois and Cabinet des Curiosités advertise a microphone, screen, daylight and meeting materials. The Grand Salon advertises hi-fi speakers, daylight and a flipchart; the Route des Indes includes a microphone, screen and hi-fi speakers. Do not assume that all this equipment is available in the Salon Nomade.

The team supports supplier selection, layout planning and catering. Agree menus, children’s meals, dietary needs, allergies, drinks, corkage, music and wet-weather backup for your wedding. The website’s digital-accessibility declaration does not establish physical access to every room: inspect routes and toilets during a visit.

Accommodation and booking

The exclusive-hire offer lists 14 rooms and suites plus 4 apartments. Bed numbers, room allocation and prices for your group are not specified. General conditions normally state room arrival at 4 p.m. and departure at 11 a.m., unless otherwise agreed; these times do not define reception hours. Rooms are non-smoking; a cleaning penalty of at least €150 is advertised for breaches.

Booking is confirmed in writing, with an advance payment or guarantee according to the quotation. Extras and overtime may be charged. Quoted amounts must specify whether VAT is included or excluded, and tourist tax is additional where applicable. Individual-room cancellation terms are not treated as wedding exclusive-hire terms: request the contract, security deposit, payment schedule and postponement rules.
