An exclusive wedding estate near Liège, Belgium

Château de Neuville-en-Condroz hosts weddings, symbolic ceremonies, drinks receptions and family celebrations in Neupré, beside the Bois de Rognac. The moat, formal courtyard, park and three reception spaces form one exclusive-hire project. The website advertises exclusive use of the estate for each event. Its FAQ states a maximum permitted attendance of 149: this limit must not be exceeded by adding the capacities of different rooms.

Grande Salle, Gallery and Petite Salle: confirm the layout

The wedding page advertises the Grande Salle for 110 seated guests and 149 standing; the FAQ limits a seated meal to 100. Use 100 as a cautious planning figure and obtain a written floor plan before booking. The same wedding page lists the Gallery at 75 seated, 140 standing, 40 theatre-style and 30 in a U; the Petite Salle at 60 seated, 75 standing and 30 theatre-style or in a U. The brochure contains further layouts: capacities are not additive and need confirmation for tables, dancing, ceremony and wet-weather use. Tables, chairs, projector, screen and Wi-Fi are advertised; courtyard and garden use is subject to agreement.

Official VAT-inclusive private-event hire prices

The PDF price list currently linked from the website gives high/low-season Saturday hire as follows: Grande Salle €2,600/€2,300, Petite Salle €1,500/€1,250 and Gallery €900/€750. Weekend rates are €3,200/€2,600, €1,750/€1,350 and €1,100/€950 respectively. High season runs from 1 April to 15 October, low season from 16 October to 30 March, with high-season pricing for New Year’s Eve. The treatment of 31 March and the validity year are not specified. These euro amounts include VAT and cover private-event venue hire, not a complete wedding with catering.

Options, charges and quotation terms

Early Friday access from 10 am is offered at €600 for the Grande Salle, €400 for the Petite Salle and €300 for the Gallery. The list also gives weekday hire at €1,800/€1,200, €1,250/€1,000 and €650/€500 in high/low season. It separately lists energy charges of €250/€200/€150 and cleaning/waste charges of €200/€150/€100 by space, while describing them as automatically included; the FAQ also calls them compulsory supplements. Obtain a written VAT-inclusive total clarifying inclusion rather than adding or subtracting them arbitrarily. Catering, DJ, decoration and accommodation are excluded. Booking deposit, security deposit, cancellation, postponement and guest minimums are not publicly detailed.

Kitchen, suppliers and drinks

An equipped professional kitchen is available for caterers; no in-house catering service is advertised. The current FAQ allows a choice of caterer, DJ and decorator, personal drinks, food trucks and other outdoor concepts. However, the brochure describes exclusive use of approved caterers, so resolve this discrepancy in the contract. A partner list is available. Ask about menus, dietary needs and allergens, corkage, catering facilities, deliveries, staff, tableware and cleaning. A symbolic ceremony in the courtyard or gardens does not establish permission for a legally recognised civil ceremony.

Hours, travel and accommodation

According to the FAQ, amplified music must stop outdoors at 10 pm and indoors at 2 am; access, setup and clearing times are agreed when booking. The address is 13 Allée du Château, 4121 Neupré. The official website lists secure private parking for 150 cars and coach access; a higher older directory figure has not been retained. Liège-Guillemins station is advertised at around thirty minutes and Brussels Airport at around one hour fifteen minutes, depending on traffic. There is no on-site accommodation: the venue supplies nearby cottage, hotel and bed-and-breakfast recommendations. Arrange shuttles and return transport after the party.
