Lounges, terrace, park and capacities: agree your layout

The official website advertises 50–300 seated guests inside the château. A commercial description updated in October 2026 instead states a maximum of 247 seated guests; other listings mention 200 or 350 depending on description and layout. These numbers are not interchangeable. Request the plan covering your dinner, dance floor and wet-weather arrangements. Individual lounge names, areas in square metres and per-room theatre, cocktail or standing capacities are not officially specified; no combined capacity is calculated here.

All lounges are reserved together. The terrace bar opens directly onto the park; outdoor areas may host ceremonies and drinks receptions according to the project. An indoor wet-weather alternative is advertised without disturbing dinner setup. The gardens provide a setting for photographs; an eighteen-hectare park is mentioned commercially and requires confirmation. Marquee services, terrace measurements, wet-weather guest capacity and permission for religious ceremonies are not established by the official pages consulted.

Planning, logistics and equipment

The same contact person helps develop your schedule and liaises with suppliers. A discreet coordinator is present on the wedding day. The offer describes the château’s own chef, an experienced supplier list, on-site organisation and exclusive lounges. Staff setup and clearing of furniture are advertised commercially; the inventory, tableware quantities, linen and any supplements require clarification in the quotation.

The official offer lists a dance floor, cloakroom, private bridal toilet, two nurseries and a large car park with arrival guidance. Staff undertake full lounge cleaning and close the venue. The official English webpage advertises Wi-Fi coverage. Parking capacity, charging points, sound-system output, lighting, air conditioning, heating and projection equipment are not detailed. Nurseries do not imply included childcare. One commercial publication describes a compulsory DJ while another refers to freely chosen suppliers: confirm supplier choice and entertainment charges in writing.

Catering, menus and drinks

The reception uses the château’s chef. Commercial descriptions refer to a substantial cocktail reception with themed food stations followed by seated dinner, combining creative cocktail food with traditional dinner cuisine. Vegetarian or vegan adaptations may be requested, without an allergen-free guarantee. Detailed menus, portions, per-guest prices, children’s charges, supplier meals, medical diets and brunch packages are not published in the official pages consulted.

Bringing wine and champagne without corkage, and an outside croquembouche or wedding cake without surcharge, are advertised commercially; confirm the rules for your date, service, glasses and storage. A drinks arrangement describes quantities per person, which does not establish an unlimited bar. The venue supplies its own catering; external caterers, food trucks and use of its kitchen are not guaranteed. One commercial description says catering is optional while also describing a compulsory caterer: no unrestricted choice is assumed.

Hire prices and booking terms

Commercial information checked on 12 October 2026 gives hire prices of €4,450–5,850, starting at €4,450, with an advertised minimum of sixty guests for exclusive lounges. Another offer starts at €4,750, and an older undated indication at €2,300. The validity year, occupation period, season, included meals, taxes and VAT are not sufficiently specified to present these as firm packages. They are guidance to reconfirm in a quotation, rather than a promise to book at that price. The sixty-person exclusive-use threshold differs from the fifty-person reception minimum.

Recent commercial information describes three instalments on different dates and payment of the balance by bank payment no later than forty-eight hours before the wedding. Percentages, amounts, security deposit, insurance, cancellation and postponement terms are unspecified. Card, bank transfer and cash appear elsewhere, without confirmation for the current contract. Commercial timings indicate access from 8.30 am on the wedding day and closing at 4 am; delivery, departure, extensions and possible fees must be agreed with the team. One reception per day is advertised commercially; clarify how exclusivity applies to outdoor areas and accommodation.

Current accommodation: an apartment for two

The official website presents a 65 m² apartment for two people at the top of the château, reached by a nineteenth-century spiral staircase. It includes bedding and linen, a bathroom with bath/shower, hairdryer and towels, wardrobe and toiletries, an equipped kitchen, Nespresso machine, two televisions, CD/DVD player, library, desk and audio system. Free Wi-Fi, an iron and ironing board on request, and fishing-equipment hire are also advertised.

Breakfast in the château library costs €17 per person, an official price checked in October 2026 with no stated validity year. Apartment price, minimum stay, extra beds and inclusion in a wedding package are unspecified. Check-in starts at 3 pm and check-out is by noon. The apartment is explicitly not accessible to guests with reduced mobility, with no lift. Some advertisements mention twelve studio beds or fourteen places, while another says no accommodation; these capacities are not confirmed as current. The two-person apartment is therefore distinguished from other lodging to arrange nearby. A nearby accommodation list and possible shuttle are advertised commercially, without automatic inclusion.

Access, practical checks and contacts

The accommodation page lists Vannes station as 23 km/approximately twenty-five minutes, Meucon airfield as 22 km/approximately twenty-three minutes, and Nantes Atlantique as 133 km/approximately one hour thirty-two; these times are indicative. Helicopter landing on the estate is offered subject to conditions to agree.

Accessible reception spaces are advertised commercially but require room-by-room checking, including routes and toilets; the upstairs apartment remains inaccessible. Decoration, confetti, candles, pets, smoke, sound, safety and regulated fireworks rules are not established for your project and need agreement. Actual facilities and covered alternatives can be inspected by appointment.
