Château du Clair de Lune offers wedding receptions combining a character residence, a French-style garden and the Côté Terre venue. Located on avenue Alan Seeger in Biarritz, the estate provides a setting for welcome drinks, dinner and evening celebrations, with views towards the Pyrenean hills from the reception areas.

Côté Terre and its outdoor spaces

Côté Terre covers 350 m² overall, including a 210 m² reception room advertised for 180 seated guests. An extension can increase capacity to 250 seated guests for an additional charge, subject to approval of the layout. These two capacities therefore do not describe the same hire arrangement. A 120 m² covered terrace and a swimming pool measuring 15 by 5 metres extend the space.

The drinks reception can take place on the château terrace and in the garden. A wisteria-covered path through the rose garden links the different settings. Use of the château’s lounge for a drinks reception is advertised as a paid option. Guest distribution, circulation and wet-weather arrangements should be agreed with the team.

Exclusive hire and guest accommodation

The wedding offer requires exclusive booking of all 18 hotel rooms for at least two nights, or three nights over long weekends. This condition is important when calculating the total budget and organising guests’ stays. The room count should not be confused with a number of sleeping places. Next-day brunch can be arranged in the reception spaces and on the terrace, with pool access depending on the selected package.

A security officer’s presence on arrival is advertised. The contract must detail catering, drinks, furniture, technical services, hours and options.
