A vineyard wedding in Martillac
Château La Garde offers wedding spaces in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation in Martillac. The country house, gardens, terraces and vat room provide the setting for a reception on a working wine estate near Bordeaux. The venue can accommodate an intimate celebration or a larger event, depending on the spaces reserved.
Cuvier Astéries and Salle Cassini
The wedding offer presents Cuvier Astéries for receptions of up to 200 guests. This space combines stonework with the contemporary architecture of the winemaking facilities. Different table arrangements can be considered, including dinner among the vats or one long table. Capacity must be confirmed according to the room needed for dancing, buffets and equipment.
Salle Cassini accommodates up to sixty guests in the dedicated wedding presentation. Its vineyard-facing terrace extends the meal or drinks reception outdoors. Capacities advertised for seminars and corporate cocktails do not automatically apply to a seated wedding dinner: each layout should be validated with the estate.
Outdoor ceremony and reception
The gardens and paths provide settings for a symbolic ceremony, drinks reception and photographs. The terraces overlook the vineyard landscape. During the viewing, discuss wet-weather alternatives, guest routes and the organisation of the different stages of the reception.
Accommodation for twenty-three
The estate advertises three château bedrooms sleeping up to eight people. An annexe adds fifteen sleeping places, giving a total of twenty-three. This allows close family and friends to stay without implying that all wedding guests can be accommodated on site. The rooms reserved, number of nights, breakfasts and arrival times should be specified in the quotation.
