L’Alhambra cinema stands on Place Raphel in Saint-Henri, in Marseille’s sixteenth arrondissement near L’Estaque. Built in 1928 and reopened after renovation in 1990, this City of Marseille cultural venue welcomes screenings, encounters and group events in a building whose facade recalls cinemas of the 1930s.

The main auditorium has 232 seats and a screen measuring 12 by 7 metres. Reception and social halls and an exhibition space complement the auditorium. The property also has a filming studio, an editing room, a small screening room and a MashUp room for activities centred on moving images.

For a gathering with colleagues or partners, L’Alhambra offers its cinema auditorium, other spaces and staff. The format is prepared with the cinema according to the project and availability. Its regular programme includes screenings, debates, film concerts, festivals, training and workshops. The venue therefore accommodates professional and community meetings connected with screenings and cultural discussions.

Children’s birthday celebrations can combine a film from the programme with refreshments in Hall Kids, privately hired after the screening. The published hire price for this space is €40 for a maximum of twenty people, with cinema tickets charged separately. The listed group ticket rate is €5 per adult and €3.50 for guests under 25. Children aged six to twelve attending a birthday benefit from the €3.50 rate.

Free parking is available nearby. Bus routes 96 and 36 or 36B serve the district, and L’Estaque railway station is described as a five-minute walk away. Groups and private hire require advance reservations with the team. Professional events are organised through an individual proposal reflecting the date and programme required.

How are reviews verified?
  1. An account with a verified email address

The author posts from their wedding account using a confirmed email address. Their email address and contact details are never displayed in the review.

  2. A collaboration confirmed before the event

The client and the professional must have confirmed their collaboration on VENUIVO before the event date. Simply adding a favourite or requesting a quote is not enough.

  3. A review after the event

A review can only be published after the scheduled date for a confirmed collaboration that has not been cancelled. Only one review may be published per collaboration.

  4. The same rules for all reviews

Positive and negative reviews are assessed using the same criteria. Abusive or promotional content and content containing private contact details are rejected. Reviews can be reported, and the professional can respond.

These checks make reviews more reliable. They confirm the collaboration process on VENUIVO; the assessment remains the author’s own.
