Clément Vigier – Chanteur Guitariste

A professional singer and guitarist based near Montluçon, in Allier, I have been performing at events for several years throughout the Massif Central and central France: weddings, secular ceremonies, birthdays, corporate parties, restaurants and village celebrations.

My complete, self-contained live entertainment brings together three elements: singing, guitar and foot-operated percussion, with live vocal harmonies. The aim is never simply to run through a playlist, but to create a real presence that adapts to the moment: playing gently when your guests are sharing something important, or increasing the tempo when the atmosphere calls for it. With more than 80 concerts a year, I have developed this ability to read the room performance by performance.

For weddings, my repertoire is designed for every generation. It adapts to each part of your day: a relaxed, subdued lounge atmosphere at the start of the drinks reception, more festive classics to enliven the cocktail reception, and an electric set if you want to build the energy into the evening dancing. I switch naturally from a wooden acoustic guitar to an electric guitar according to the atmosphere you want. Your favourite songs and artists are, of course, discussed during a preparatory conversation before the wedding day.

I handle all the technical arrangements. I have my own compact, discreet sound and lighting system, which fits equally well in an estate garden, a renovated barn or a reception hall. A standard electrical socket is all that is needed—no truck, technician or logistical arrangements on your part. I set up independently, usually in less than an hour before the performance starts. Outdoors, only a light shelter, such as a tent or covered area, is needed to protect the equipment.

I travel within a 2-hour radius of Montluçon, covering six departments: Allier, Creuse, Puy-de-Dôme, Cher, Indre and Haute-Vienne. Towns I regularly serve include Montluçon, Moulins, Vichy, Guéret, Clermont-Ferrand, Bourges, Châteauroux and Limoges, together with the surrounding communities. There is no additional travel charge for journeys of up to 1h30 from my base.

Wedding dates are generally booked several months in advance, particularly between May and September—please check availability as early as possible. For other types of events, a few weeks is usually enough.
