A wedding in a former convent in the Nebbio
On the Oletta plain, between Bastia and Saint-Florent, Couvent SanFrancescu hosts receptions and weddings in a privately owned historic monument. The estate combines a Baroque chapel, the former convent wing, themed gardens and a landscaped park. This architecture steeped in history makes it possible to bring the ceremony, cocktail, dinner and stay together on one estate, in an atmosphere very different from conventional reception halls.
Chapel, gardens and park for the reception
The chapel is used for events, exhibitions, concerts and banquets. For weddings, the booking information reviewed states up to 300 people for lunch or dinner and 400 in a cocktail arrangement in the church and its side chapels. The landscaped park is advertised for up to 500 guests depending on the format. These capacities, ceremonial use of the chapel and any heritage restrictions must be confirmed in writing for the selected date and layout.
The estate includes approximately one hectare of gardens with varied atmospheres, including the monks’ garden, rose garden, ruins garden and a Renaissance garden. A pool is set within the park.
