Domaine du Bommelaers Wall

In Ghyvelde, near Dunkirk, Bergues and Bray-Dunes, Domaine du Bommelaers Wall hosts weddings and celebrations on a working farm. Buildings that formerly housed a rural museum now contain two separate reception venues, La Grange and La Hêtraie. Exclusive hire of the entire property is also possible, subject to your plans and availability.

Two rooms with distinct capacities

La Grange is a late-eighteenth-century building with approximately 300 m² for 180 seated guests. Exposed beams and old brickwork provide a welcoming setting, alongside an enclosed garden and a 125 m² terrace. La Hêtraie offers 130 m² and accommodates 60 guests at round tables or 80 at rectangular tables while retaining space for dancing, or up to 200 for a drinks reception. An adjoining 80 m² lounge adds a separate quieter area.

Facilities for your celebration

Each room has a catering preparation area and its own parking facilities. La Grange includes a children’s area and a lockable dressing room for the couple with private toilets. Its car park has approximately 100 spaces; La Hêtraie has 40. Both include two accessible parking spaces. Gardens and terraces can be arranged for an outdoor ceremony or drinks reception according to the agreed event layout.

Planning and booking

Furniture is provided, and caterers and DJs must be chosen from the venue’s partner lists. Wedding hire from Friday at 2 p.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m. is priced by individual quotation; published day and evening rates are separate options.
