Domaine du Grand Puy offers a wedding and reception venue in Montpellier’s Grisettes district. This restored eighteenth-century residence combines historic architecture with contemporary event spaces. Its location within a 17-hectare agricultural park provides a landscaped setting while remaining in the city, with tram access and on-site parking.
Spaces for the reception and drinks
The wedding and reception offering includes a 210-square-metre main room, a 50-square-metre room, a patio measuring more than 100 square metres and a catering area. The south-facing terrace covers 200 square metres and overlooks a garden of approximately 1,000 square metres, designed in a French formal style. These areas make it possible to separate arrivals, drinks, dinner and relaxation.
The estate advertises a room accommodating more than 200 people and overall event capacity exceeding 250. The actual seated dinner capacity must be confirmed against the table plan, dance floor and weather-backup arrangements; a general event capacity does not guarantee the same number seated in every space.
Support and equipment
The team prepares a tailored proposal and can recommend suitable suppliers. The estate’s restaurant offers a Mediterranean gastronomic setting, but wedding catering arrangements still need to be agreed in the quotation. Seminar spaces have wifi, connected touchscreens and flip charts. Wireless microphones and coat racks are available on request. The main room can be divided for meetings, and two 35-square-metre rooms complement the professional offering.
Access and budget
Two private car parks provide 150 spaces, and coaches can drop guests off. Pedestrians can arrive via the Ramblas des Calissons; tram line 2 serves the Sabines and Grisettes stops.
