A wedding above Vaugneray
Domaine du Malval hosts weddings, receptions and seminars at the Col de Malval in Vaugneray. The setting overlooks the surrounding hills and, when conditions allow, the Alpine range. Indoor rooms and terraces can accommodate different stages of a wedding day near Lyon.
Capacity and adaptable rooms
The indoor space covers approximately 350 m², divided into three advertised sections of 120, 160 and 75 m². For weddings, the estate describes a layout for 200 diners retaining approximately 75 m² for drinks or dancing. The maximum of 270 seated people uses the space differently and should not be confused with this wedding layout. Business gatherings can accommodate up to 150 participants, depending on format.
Terraces and equipment
Two terraces measuring 305 and 475 m² offer possibilities for a symbolic ceremony, drinks and photographs. Indoor and outdoor tables and chairs, standing-height tables, an awning, cold storage and a cloakroom are advertised. Parking and access for people with reduced mobility are available. A projector and flipchart are offered for meetings. A visit helps confirm guest circulation and wet-weather arrangements.
Catering, budget and contact
Catering is presented in partnership with Dominique Traiteur. Any alternative supplier must be expressly approved; unrestricted outside catering is not assumed. The official starting price is €1,500, while an advertised wedding-hire range is €1,500–3,800. These are not meal prices per person.
