A setting to celebrate your story
Full presentation
In Avignon’s historic centre, La Mirande welcomes weddings immediately beside the Palais des Papes. Located at 4 place de l’Amirande, this former cardinal’s residence brings together lounges, a patio and dining areas in a building steeped in history. Its classical façade and décor inspired by the 18th and 19th centuries give a city reception a distinctive identity.
Spaces for a wedding dinner
The establishment lists a configuration accommodating 150 seated guests in a suite of three dining rooms. For a more intimate event, capacity varies by room: the Salle Cardinalice accommodates 85 people for a banquet, the Salon Napoléon III 16 and the Salon Louis XV 40. These figures apply to the listed meal arrangements; the spaces and guest numbers for your reception must be confirmed with the hotel.
Dining and shared moments
The rooms arranged around the patio allow different sequences to be considered for your celebration. La Mirande presents two dining atmospheres, one classical and elegant, the other more convivial. The former kitchen also hosts La Table Haute for private dinners with the chef, from Tuesday to Saturday. The menu, drinks and spaces used are planned with the establishment according to your project.
Music, dancing and accommodation
La Mirande can recommend acoustic music ensembles. The vaulted cellars can be prepared as a dance floor with a DJ, depending on the arrangements chosen. The patio can only be reserved for private use as part of exclusive hire of the entire hotel. For a longer stay, the establishment lists 26 double rooms for family accommodation; other guests can look for accommodation in hotels in central Avignon.
Organising your reception
Before choosing your date, specify the guest numbers, the space you would like for dancing and the rooms required. Request a quotation detailing catering, exclusive hire, hours and additional services so that you have a suitable programme and budget. The hotel’s access map distinguishes arrival and departure routes, with a specific route during the Avignon Festival: pass the appropriate directions to your guests.
