Le Carreau du Temple hires its 1,840 m² Halle for professional and public events at 2 rue Perrée in Paris’s 3rd arrondissement. The venue lists dinners, conferences, showrooms, standing receptions, trade fairs and fashion shows. Its wood-and-metal structure, listed as a Historic Monument, is lit by large glazed roofs and allows flexible scenography beneath a height of up to 13 metres.

Published capacities for the Halle

Official capacities vary by format: 500 guests for a combined standing reception and dinner, 700 for a seated dinner, 700 for a conference followed by a standing reception, 1,200 for a fashion show, 1,500 for a fair or exhibition and 2,000 for a standing reception only. These capacities describe separate configurations and must not be combined. The floor plan, exits, stage, stands, service areas and safety constraints must be approved for each event.

Auditorium as an add-on

The Auditorium may be hired only in addition to the Halle. Its fixed seating accommodates up to 250 guests for a conference, screening or performance. Le Carreau states that the stage measures 8.90 metres deep by 15.10 metres wide, with a 5.45-metre height to the lighting grid; equipment must be specified with the technical team. The staff and technical equipment required for the chosen format are supplied by quotation.

Equipment and organisation

The official presentation mentions free Wi-Fi, retractable seating in the Halle and considerable flexibility. Sound, lighting, video, power, rigging, deliveries, cloakroom, cleaning, security, furniture and signage requirements must be detailed in the enquiry. Rates and conditions

Hire is available by quotation. Rates, taxes, minimum spend, staffing, setup, breakdown, overtime, insurance, booking payment, security deposit, cancellation and postponement are not published.
