In Zurich, The Dolder Grand combines a historic building, contemporary wings and 175 rooms and suites. Close to the forest, with views of the city, lake and Alps, the hotel hosts weddings, private receptions, seminars and conferences. Its rooms and terraces let you hold different parts of the day on site.
Rooms for different receptions
The 715 m² Gallery accommodates up to 400 people for a banquet or 600 for cocktails. The 400 m² Ballroom seats 270 guests and has parquet flooring suitable for dancing, a foyer and an adjoining terrace. For a more intimate meal, Library 2 seats 20. Capacities depend on the space and layout chosen.
Ceremony and wedding planning
The Libraries host civil weddings on selected dates from April to October, booked through the City of Zurich. The events team coordinates the hotel’s catering, flowers and requested services. A wedding package is available from 40 people; this threshold applies to that package, rather than being a minimum for every room. Accessibility should be checked for the rooms and accommodation selected.

- Wedding package from 348 CHF per person, for 40 people or more, VAT included: one-hour aperitif with five canapés and selected drinks, four-course dinner or buffet, sorbet, coffee and petits fours, non-alcoholic drinks until 02:00, room, dance floor, stage, specified floral arrangements, cloakroom, parking and the couple’s wedding night in a suite with breakfast. Champagne or vodka sorbet: 10 CHF extra per person. Additional decorations quoted separately. Outside food and drinks only by written agreement; corkage to be agreed.
Booking and payment

- Deposit and due dates according to the contract; invoices payable within 30 days if this payment method is agreed. Written cancellation: free up to 120 days before for no more than 149 guests, or 150 days before for 150 guests or more; thereafter graded charges under the terms, up to 100%. Services already committed may remain payable. Specific contractual terms take precedence.
