Zalmhuis is an official wedding venue on Schaardijk in Capelle aan den IJssel, beside Rotterdam. Views across the Maas create a distinctive setting for a ceremony, a shared meal and an evening celebration. The restaurant and its event spaces accommodate different wedding formats, from a smaller gathering to a larger reception. Choose a space for each part of the celebration

The wedding programme lists ceremony capacities of up to 50 guests in the Garden Room or Garden and up to 200 in the Rooftop Room. Located on the top floor, the Rooftop Room has its own bar and private terrace overlooking the river. For wedding receptions and evening parties, the venue advertises up to 300 guests in this room, with up to 100 in the Garden Room or Garden.

Dining and evening arrangements

Catering options include a seated meal, walking dinner and foodcourt format. The dedicated Rooftop Room page gives a seated dinner capacity of up to 180 people. These figures refer to different layouts, so couples should confirm the appropriate capacity for their chosen programme.
